So, Valentine’s Day falls on a Tuesday this year. That means that, after work, you probably only have about an hour to get ready for the big date, right? There could also suddenly be more traffic than usual, or maybe it started raining and the outfit you were planning on wearing is hanging on the line outside. What more can go wrong?!

Get the time-consumers out of the way
Use the weekend, or even Monday, to do things like shape your eyebrows, fix your nails, wax and rejuvenate your skin with a face mask and/or nose strip. If you are already feeling fresh on Tuesday, getting ready will go so much quicker on Valentine’s Day!
Do a decent sweep-through
Make sure that when you leave your house on Tuesday morning, it is already spotless. Do this for two reasons: Firstly, if you are in a rush, having a neat and tidy space will make it much easier to get ready and to find all your things.
